You may remember Rob's last
pirate bust. Well duty called once again - this time it was a Jamaican/Reggae station.
Kind of peaceful...well this is the antenna. Rob and his friend Mike found it last week and this week they went in for the take down.
They did have a cop with them! Here Mike is opening a wooden box they found in the mechanical room. Rob was suspicious about the building owners because it seemed unlikely this could have been down without their knowledge.
Notice the line coming out of the breaker box and leading to the wooden box.
Within...radio equipment!
Aaaaaaand then it's gone!

Rob was so pleased that his personal bolt cutters (a gift from my dad) were a big part of this pirates undoing. I just wish that word would get around the pirate community to leave this frequency alone!

ReplyDeleteI didn't know if those purple flowers were crocuses or not, so I google-image searched them. They seem to be! The little poem from Caleb's book is so sweet! I'm glad I took a picture of them the other day. They are the only ones I've seen - there are so many snowdrops out, but those are the only purple crocuses, so I jumped at the chance to snap a picture.
yeah, you'd think word would get around about Rob.
