1. I dreamed when the baby was born we were surprised to discover it was a boy and not a girl! And he was HUGE - he was the size of Natalie - and she is small for her age, but not that small! He also looked exactly like my friend's son.
2. I dreamed that a facebook friend who is also pregnant, but due later than me, had her baby at full term, but I was still pregnant. I was extremely confused and jealous and for a day or so I really thought she had already had her baby!

I gave in and bought a whole watermelon last week. Caleb has been begging for one and I was waiting for the price to come down. The kids had a watermelon seed spitting contest:
Look who won!
Is there a neat way to cut up watermelon? I'd sure buy it more often if I could figure that out. It makes such a mess - and our kids think it is fun to "ice skate" on the rinds, so even making it an "outside food" is messy. Mako likes to steal it and he is capable of eating the fruit and leaving the seeds. It just makes me not like watermelon.
I can't remember the last time I saw watermelon WITH seeds at the grocery store! It's all seedless around here. Our problem is that we don't go through an entire melon when we buy one, and buying 1/2 a melon is just as much as buying a whole melon. To avoid a mess at the table, I usually carve ours up over the sink ahead of time. I cut off the rind and then cut it into chunks and store it in a Tupperware container.
ReplyDeleteI bought that one at Aldi. They had both kinds, but the seeded ones were much bigger! Caleb can eat an enormous amount of watermelon!!!
