32 Weeks

No one seemed to be able to take a non-blurry picture of me this week, so I had to resort to a bathroom mirror selfie!

• So I have news - we attempted to schedule the c-section last week and they no longer schedule elective cesareans before you are fully 39 weeks - which for me is a Saturday.  The Monday and Tuesday after that Saturday are already full at the hospital where we plan to deliver.  The surgical coordinator felt like the Wednesday before my due date (Friday July 25th) is too late and would not take that date. Clearly, they do not intend to prevent me from having the baby!  So I am not really worried about not having a scheduled time/date.  It would be nice to have a day to plan for, but that has never worked out for me in the past!  The girls were born at 37 and 41 weeks and Caleb was born at 38 weeks - but only because he was breech and they did not want me to go into labor.  So I am all over the place.  My thought is that they will find a "medically necessary" reason to deliver this little girl a week or two early and I won't need to be on the schedule.
• Sleep - still surprisingly restful.
• No major complaints - I get a little heartburn from time to time, but nothing major.  When we were all sick two weeks ago, I was plenty fatigued, but now I usually get by without a nap.
• I get a crazy number of Braxton Hicks contractions - mostly between noon and bedtime.  They don't hurt, but they feel strong and sometimes catch me off guard!
• Pretty sure this little lady is head down - based on where I get kicked!
• July 16 may not be any official date, but since I've been counting down to it - it is 45 days away!
• 45 days ago was April 17 - the girls painted rocks and then each other.  I'm pretty sure it ended with water hose showers!
