How far along? 34 weeks 6 days
Total weight gain/loss: 33lbs or so
Maternity clothes? yes
Stretch marks? no change
Sleep: Varies - I am up to 4 pillows now. I have found that if I can determine which side the baby's back is on, if I lay on the opposite side, I get more comfortable.
Movement: yes and lots of hiccups
Food cravings: not really - just craving more space for my stomach
Labor Signs: I guess none, still Braxton Hicks, but nothing that makes me think I'll go into labor any time soon.
Belly Button in or out? flatish, mine has never popped out
Wedding rings on or off? on, I've never had to take them off before either.
What I miss: sleeping on my stomach, being able to roll over in bed without it being a major production, walking between two things without brushing up against both of them.
What I am looking forward to: June 29th - the day my mom gets here!
Milestones: Is it a milestone that the baby is in an excellent position for delivery? I am trying not to let that bother me! Although I think I would feel more content about the impending c-section if the baby were in some strange undeliverable position. Then again, maybe not, I guess if something out of the ordinary happened (like the collapse of western society), at least I know the baby is in an excellent position for delivery!
Also I had to have another ultrasound - I was way off for my fundal height at my last appointment - I measured 28 1/2 weeks at nearly 34 weeks. The baby measured right at 34 1/2 weeks - about 5lbs 6oz...except for the head, which measured 36 weeks...very much like his/her older siblings. The issue is my fluid, which is slightly below where they would like it to be, so I've been admonished to drink as much as possible and basically that is less than what they want me to drink.
you're beautiful Leah! The no stretch mark thing is remarkable in my book ok. That's all I have to say about THAT. Not too long now... YAY!
ReplyDeleteYou do look good Leah! I wish we lived closer so we could help with the kids occasionally. I remember how exhausted I was when I was pregnant for Danielle - I don't know how you get anything done chasing after 2!
ReplyDeleteThanks guys :) I don't get a whole lot done! But we manage to eat something every night and I've been getting the laundry done. Some weeks I get the house kind of clean, some weeks I don't. Caleb has become a lot more helpful in the last few months too, so it isn't as difficult as having two toddlers underfoot ;)
