So....What is Annalise up to?

Sometimes it seem so easy to blog about all of Caleb's activities. He's always saying funny things or making or doing something, but Annalise is quickly catching up to him. She'll be 9 months old this weekend and I have no idea where that time went! When Caleb was a baby, his skills and abilities seemed to emerge slowly like a lovely bud stretching its petals. With Annalise it seems like someone took a full tube of toothpaste and squeezed it and everything spurt out at once.

Annalise is very curious. Her curiousity is really making her move - she can pull up now and has even made a few halting steps while holding on. She loves the camera lens, which makes taking her picture difficult...and makes most of her pictures look the same - a baby lunging for the camera in hopes of tasting that tempting round dangly thing.

Annalise is very hungry. Lately she has been eating up a storm! I'm guessing growth spurt, but she is already fitting some 12 month clothes.

Annalise is pretty pudgy, which is a very handy thing. She is not very cautious (Caleb was a very cautious baby) and falls a lot. Having a solid layer of chub on every inch of her body has been a big help.

Annalise thinks Caleb is very funny. Suddenly she is laughing a lot more. Well he is pretty funny :) So she has a good sense of humor.

Annalise loves dogs...and not just Mako, but it's his tail and tags that she gets to check out.

Annalise likes toys :) Particularly Caleb's toys.

She is a neat little girl and I like her a lot :)

  1. Cute pictures! The last one reminded me that I wanted to ask about Caleb's potty training. :) How is he doing?

  2. Caleb's potty training has moved from being an ability issue to a mood issue. Some days he seems to just have more trouble "holding it" and being kind to Annalise. The days that he finds it easier to be sweet to her, he also seems to make it to the bathroom on time. In general, I think he's getting closer to graduation.
