Pictures from Our Second Ultrasound

I know, I know, they all look the same as anyone else's ultrasound, but humor me and check out these pictures of our little girl - upgraded from 85% sure to definately.

Classic Profile

This picture was neat because during the ultrasound the way she moved made it look 3D. It's her nose and upper lip.

Long fingers - just like Mommy.

Big feet! Also just like Mommy.

(Doesn't it look like she's wearing running shoes?)

Also Clarissa (my midwife) has another patient trying for a VBAC and she's due any day - they found a doctor in Miami willing to let her try, so this means that the same doctor will probably let me try if our baby is head down. We shall see - she was head down at the first ultrasound, but was transverse at this one. However, it's still too early to know what position she'll eventually pick (or, as in Caleb's case, get stuck in).

Clarissa also gave me a copy of the operative report from when Caleb was born. It is pretty interesting. In the section labeled findings, they reported a "viable male neonate". I couldn't read all of the description of the actual operation. It was just too hard to get my mind around the fact that this is what they did to me. I can't even watch those birth shows anymore if they are showing a c-section!
