I really love self portraits! Annalise doesn't talk much about her scar, but evidently she thinks about it. It is not nearly as noticeable as this picture makes it seem. Her bangs usually cover it too. I thought she did a really nice job on her features :) It has always been important to her to draw a realistic nose.
I didn't notice the scar so much as I did the eyes. I thought she captured her eyes nicely.
