A side story about this cup. On the other side it said, "Microwave with caution" which said to me it was ok to microwave briefly. I wanted to make a cup of tea without using the coffee pot, so I put water in it and thought a minute would be ok. Since the turntable didn't rotate I took it out after 30 seconds to turn it and IT WAS BURNING! Not flames, but at the bottom it was turning black and it smelled like burnt paper. Yeah, so don't microwave the Cup of Joy.

ReplyDeletehaha My microwave actually has a 'cup of joy' as it's own button on the microwave next to the popcorn button so it is a non-issue for me. br
