Waterside Art

This project is really simple.  Take a piece of white tissue paper and fold it in half (I also trimmed our to make it about twice the size of a regular sheet of paper).  Place a piece of cardboard or cardstock under the tissue paper.

Paint a scene with watercolors.  I mistakenly told the kids to paint an area of water at the folded edge, but this isn't really necessary, it looks watery even without painting water, plus a reflection starts at the edge!

Allow to dry completely before unfolding.

Annalise's scene - this is her standard issue princess, but I think it looks a little like a volcano.  I like it :)  No help from mom this time.

Caleb's scene.

And lest you think C & A are working hard and Natalie is just getting left out...she is too busy for that!  I caught her practicing her short vowels the other day - the phonics book is upside down but she's saying "ah ah ah apple".
