It's so hard to watch your baby be sick!
A quick visit with our pediatrician let us know that Caleb has an ear infection. I guess that blows the theory about breastfed babies not having ear infections (someone also told me while I was still pregnant that they didn't need to be burped either - that was a lie! But in all fairness, the benefits still outweigh all this by far).
She told me I had not been giving him a large enough dose of tylenol, which probably explained why his fever didn't go down until yesterday. He still seems to be uncomfortable, but his fever is much lower, if not gone sometimes. He's taking an antibiotic...well sort of. He is not crazy about taking the medicine. The first dose ended up mostly on his clothes.
I'm ready for my happy little guy to be happy again!
Just e-mailed you before I saw this. Hope it's gone in a flash. Teething is bad enough.
