May Showers

It has rained a lot down here the last few days.  Basically it started raining at about 5pm Monday and rained until 5pm yesterday.  Not non-stop, but on and off, usually pouring when it did.  My mom said something about hoping it cleared up for us soon, but I had to reply that I don't mind days like that.  I guess it would get old if it went on for months, but after weeks of relentless sunshine, a few overcast days in the mid 70s do my heart good.  And the rain?  We don't mind that at all!


This is what our nearest park looks like after several days of rain:

 We looked, but didn't find any tadpoles!

    Looks like fun! I like the occasional rainy day, too. It's nice to have a reason to slow down and just hang out!
