When I bought Annalise a pack of generic pull-ups with pink ballerinas all over, she pulled one out and squeeled, "It's Pink-delicious!"
"Huh?" I said.
"No no no!" said Caleb, "It's Pink-malicious!"
It turned out to be Pinkalicious - a character in a book they had read at a friend's house. So tonight, Annalise became Pinkalicious herself - complete with pink headband, which isn't so visible in this picture, but if you look at the next one carefully, you'll see that not only is she wearing a pink headband with a pink bow, so is the little girl on her shirt!
We like those books over here, too. They have easy reader books now that have Pinkalicious (& Goldie) in them. Does Annalise appreciate Fancy Nancy yet? Has Caleb ever read the Taxi Dog or Walter the Farting Dog books?
ReplyDeleteI don't think either of them have read any of those books. I've never actually read Pinkalicious, we don't have the book, so most of my info on her is 2nd hand - I do know about the pink cupcakes though :)
ReplyDeleteOkay, now I know what my next grandparenting column is. . .Thanks! Pinkalicious, huh?
ReplyDeleteDon't forget the "sequels": Purplicious & Goldilicious.
