The Pappas House

About once a month, we go to the Pappas's house for a potluck dinner with other young couples. When we started going, it was mostly childless couples, but that is quickly becoming the uncool thing to be. Three of us had babies within 3 days last fall.

This group was really an answer to prayer for me. When we started going about 2 years ago, I was really feeling like I needed more friends. It has taken a while to really get to know people I only see once a month! But now it is something I look forward to a lot!

Tim and Peggy, the Pappases, are not in the picture, but are a great couple. Tim works in real estate. Peggy stays home. Eric and Renee work for Campus Crusade for Christ (Renee is from Arkansas! And a U of A alumnus! And she is having a baby in December.). Jamie and Vadim work for Intervarsity Christian Fellowship. Chris work for the county, Nina stays home with Millie. Mike works for Miami Youth for Christ, his wife Linda is a NICU nurse. Thaddeus is a PhD student at UM, his wife Rebecca teaches high school. Emily is also a PhD student at UM.
