A Few from the Zoo

We are taking most of the week off of school to get a grandparent fix :) Very good timing - we went to zoo yesterday and since it is the first week of traditional school, there were no swarms of kids of field trips and no day camps. Nice. It was however, HOT.
Meerkats - Natalie, "So cute!"  Annalise, "They hold their hands like a princess!"

Water station, no one cared about being soaking wet - even Grandma made a run through the water!

Our zoo has two big water play areas, this is the newest one.  I really liked watching the kids stand under this bucket dumping thing.

Veeeeery close to a clouded leopard!

Annalise's goal for the day was to feed a giraffe.

The gal at the entrace told us to watch out for several babies - and there were lots of babies!
Even the warthog babies were "so cute" - you couldn't help but smile at them.  But I have to ask, how many of you moms have ever felt like this warthog mom?  Yeah, me too.

  1. Oh Leah, I'd like to blow up that warthog picture and hang it above my sink. That cracks me up!!
