Annalise drew this in my "planner" - there is so much I love about this picture (not the least being the artist), it is so classic Annalise. For one, she has ears - Annalise's people always have ears! Grim faced Mako with way too many legs! When she draws people, if she gives them hands (often they'll have ears, but no arms or hands) they'll have about a dozen fingers on each hand. Both of the bigs (at different times) have amused my by declaring in amazement, "I have FIVE fingers on my hand!" You know, we really take knowing that for granted!
Have you worked with her on writing her name? I try that with Gwen and she just says "I can't do it" and gives up
ReplyDeleteMostly no, she asked me how to spell it over and over until she got it down. However, I did make up a song to help her remember how to spell it. It's to the tune of "Praise Ye the Lord/Hall-le-lu" which I remember from VBS as a kid, I'm sure you've heard it.
