Pet Art

We have gotten behind on our Shing Lee art book! We did this craft a few weeks ago, but it's still hanging on the art wall.
Basically you trace the top of a large cup and some oval shaped plate or cardboard cut out and then you add details like legs or ears and make your pet - the examples were dogs and cats.A good craft to practice cutting and using tape.

The kids had a hard time adding legs, so they just cut out legs and taped them on. Annalise's dog is Missy, a small sweet dog our Spanish teacher has been dog sitting.

Caleb's is Mako.
And here is the one I made as an example - it is Sadie, a stray we took in when I was a kid.C & A love the story I tell about how she had a brown dot between her ears and Brian and I would say, "If you push Sadie's spot Daddy's truck will fall apart!" then we would push it and laugh.
