Art Exhibit

Annalise is starting to show that all of Caleb's painting, pasting and cutting has inspired her. It's really neat to do a craft with them and see how 2 years of ability changes how they are able to complete it! For example, this fingerprint fall tree - inspired by an art display at the school at our church:

Caleb has started signing everything, sometimes he writes CALEB, sometimes BELAC and sometimes one letter will just go haywire and wind up in different part of the paper altogether!

Annalise's interpretation of a fingerprint fall tree:

Good thing I showed Caleb's first, right? Not that I don't think she did a good job, but it does look a bit like a bloody hand!

But this doesn't. Just this last weekend, Annalise started drawing faces:

She said it is "Pawpaw" - Grandpa (didn't specify which one).

That is a nice face, especially for a 2 year old! Danielle used to do that with her name, too. Tyler never did. One time Danielle was writing with chalk on the driveway and spelled her name backwards and made every letter perfectly backwards, too.
