Our next door neighbor has not only a green thumb, but five green fingers on each hand. He tooks a potted poinsettia and planted it in his front yard and voila:
This has at least 2 years growth on it. :) Kind of makes me feel Christmas-y.
I love this picture! When I lived in West Hollywood, we would collect our rich neighbour's discarded poinsettas from their garbage and plant them in our yard. They grew beautifully.
