Verbs...

Cruel cruel grandma...

We thought this was a funny picture from our Arkansas visit. My mom DID share plenty of ice cream with Caleb, but this picture looks like he got left out, doesn't it? Ha!

Well, he can't handle his sugar very well. One night at church (we dinner there every Wednesday before Awanas), we had brownies for dessert. I gave him a bite or two of mine and then left to set up for Awanas. After I left, Rob gave him HALF of a monster sized brownie. He was up til nearly midnight. Now that's a cruel thing to do to a toddler.

Caleb's spoken vocabulary consists of almost all nouns. I say almost only because I can't think of a different part of speech he uses, but I can't rule them out entirely. Regardless, he understands a lot of verbs. He is like a little circus performer. He will pretty much on command (and one right after another) pat his belly, pull his ears, pinch his nose, blink his eyes, stomp his feet, and stick out his tongue. Before I had Caleb, I would have been so unimpressed with this development, but to see him go from basically a very needy houseplant, to something so vibrant is truly amazing...and I am amazed!
