Do You Know the Way to Put-in-Bay?

Another benefit of visiting Ohio in the spring was going to Put-in-Bay.  It is a small village on an island in Lake Erie.  There are a lot of pictures, so I am going to split them into two posts.  Basically the sun rose at 5am and set at 9:30pm and Rob and Caleb fished every available minute between those two times.  Annalise joined them most of the time too.

There is no bridge to Put-in Bay, you have to take a ferry.  We opted to take the van over, but it is not necessary to take a car - the island is small and there are several places to rent golf carts.  We took the van because we figured we wouldn't fit on a golf cart, but they do rent 6 and 8 passenger golf carts.  But it was raining cats and dogs the day we went over, so it was nice to be enclosed.
Driving onto the ferry.

Storm rolling in.

And so they fished....
and fished...
and fished...
and fished...
and fished...
and fished...
and even Natalie caught one. (Although she didn't fish much, instead she gave Uncle Joe and Aunt Carol's Barbie dolls a workout.)
