Today we took a family excursion to the hospital...for a tour! The hospital I will be delivering at is just off the MetroRail, so we told Caleb we would go for a ride on a train - and oh the anticipation! He kept calling it a choo choo train.And of course, he wants to ride it, "Again! Again!" But we decided it was a little more trouble than it was worth, although it is sort of novel fun to ride the MetroRail once in a while (and very convenient if you have jury duty.) So we took a tour of the labor and delivery floor and the postpartum floor and saw the nursury. Caleb wished all the newborns a "Happy Birthday!" A luxury hotel it's not, but I was happy with the friendly nurses we met and in general felt more at ease about switching gears so late in my pregnancy.
